(I changed my name earlier on the new site, and it didn't seem to effect my PS or anythign else... )
So.... I'm guessing "42% satisfaction" or "42% satisfied" ? I'm licking the sound of that... err probably liking it too but I need a coffee and cigarette break now, someone keep the servers warm whilst I'm gone...

Can someone please tell me what my user name looks like to them?

Yes many of those people on mine haven't been active in years.
also some of the words being filtered aren't really bad words.

It says kea, as I'm looking in alabaster; the new site specific suffix part will only display on the new site; I've just changed my name, but on here* (I.E., in alabaster it remains the same)
I'll now go to the new site, and have a check for you (and check mine too)..

Ok, well I've changed my name twice in alabaster, and I've logged in in another browser and checked it - it shows the change in the settings text box, but not on the site.
Weird.
Great, so now I can't change my name on the old site.

Maybe... maybe not; It always talkes a while to update on the old/current site; its to do with how often the database refreshes its information from the database which hold the information like our display name that we put in; I've gon into new HooToo and added a differt suffix there (that will, and seems to be appearing only on the new site), and I've just gone and altered my name on here too (in alaabaster on the old hootoo), but, as yet, I don't see the change I've made here to my display name coming up... it may just take a while though as I say... I'll look again in a bit...

Nick in case you are still reading, here is an example of how barlesque isn't working. I just tried to post a reply to a thread in the new site:

The sentence I wrote (Post 2 looks... ) has nothing in it that would normally fail the profanity filter (which is why I can post exactly the same thing here in alabaster). There are multiple instances of posts being blocked that have absolutely no offensive words in them. Like I said, the site doesn't work properly.

Yeah, mine is showing now. Not seen it take that long before, but makes sense with all the other server problems at the moment.

Ahh! I just closed down my browser, went off for a ciggy, and came back... my name still hadn't updated... but Now I've hit teh reply button, and I see it suddenly has!: but for the full effect of my name you need the suffix as well, which of course only appears in the Guide MK2.... I was tryign it again a bit earlier this evening but kept getting too many 500 server errors and a lot of messages I tried to post, as you found above, just wouldn't post...
Oh, I'll go have a look at that website now, hang on

Now in burlesque again. I'm not sure if it'll post though... the last message on another thread somehow made it through the filthfilter but its still rather hit and miss, plus the 500 internal server errors are as prolific as my toy collection...

I just read on wiki,

So maybe we should call the changeover The Burlesque Barlesque?
Nah, too boring.
I'm using Brunel (as you can tell, since the ' is legible ) because I don't see any reason to test further until the major things that everyone's already reported multiple times in multiple places is at least addressed (heck, *acknowledged*), if not fixed I'll wait to fix up my PS until I know if my drop down boxes will ever be functional again.
