a loverly name....

Kate

Was... that.... really... I could have sworn.... nighthoover who just posted? *faints*

The new site should be renamed '100%' to honour the wonderful customer satisfaction it has delivered.

I'm encountering the same sort of a... is it a glitch?
it thinks acronyms or references to the old themes are swear words somehow.
Also, what are "followers"? and why can't we edit them??

Followers is the new name for people who have selected you as a friend (they will see all new posts to your journal and PS). You can't unselect them. In the old site you had to choose to show the list. Is it set to visible by default now in the new site?

>> what are "followers"? <<
I think they are people who have 'subscribed' to your page.
Using the term followers is a weak-kneed kiss-azz nod to its
use on supposedly 'successful' websites like Twit and Facebang.
Which, sadly, means someone thinks that success is measured in
billions of members. It isn't. Unless you're a corporation with
no soul or sense of humanity.
The words cannon fodder come to mind.

Yes, it is visible by default. And I have just realised that even the journals I have removed in brunel are now all there.
That is not really something I appreciate.

now... i think of this question as constructive... in the long run
has anyone else noticed that the losses all seem to have to do with choice?

The light dawns!
Yes fluffy, we have been cast in the role of minions.
Those who survive this castration will be made to breed
like until we number in the faceless billions.
It's a corporate thing.

That's what 'toning down' and '100% satisfaction' is all about.

So long as we still have our cute ickle wabbits, and our cups of and our then we're all happy and pacified, look, a quick a and a and all of a sudden I'm 100% satisfied.

I'm using Classic Goo, because it's easier on my eyes, and because it doesn't mess up my apostrophes! I'll switch when I have to...

42% might be more appropriate, for more than one reason.

Ok, I can feel a tagline campaign coming on. Can we change our taglines in barlesque without messing up the PS date thingy?
