"To land a reality show" should NOT be a career goal.
"To become unattractive to men" strongly suggests she's a very disturbed young woman.
I'm not saying that she should want to be attractive to men, I'm suggesting that she probably experienced some traumatic encounters with men in her life.

Surely a burka would be cheaper and less likely to attract male attention, what she is doing is the equivalent to tackling male obesity by offering fat blokes extra donuts
