As long as that religious liberty allows people to tell god-botherers to F*** off out of other peoples business and that they are moronic sexist, bigots who shouldn;t be allowed to hold down a job that doesn't involve using cleaning implements or burgers.
Obviously, this would not happen as religious liberty does not include criticising religions as that would be hatred and offensive.

The homophobic registrar IS black so that answers that question.
If her religious book did say black people couldn't marry she would interpret it a different way or simply go 'la-la' not listening.

People, if you ain't going to take the trouble to summarise, or at least introduce, the story behind the link why should any one else take the trouble to click it?

There are times when stories are put on this thread for humour value...my last one was for humour value...feed-line with the actual story as the punch line.
Oh, and it must take milliseconds of your life to actually click on a link and a couple of seconds to see if it's worth reading. Probably, the time it takes to read the summary of the story by the poster and decide that you do actually want to have a look. Thereby, wasting seconds on reading something that you will re-read in the story. And since the large majority of storties posted on this thread ARE worth reading just putting the link up will, over-time, waste less of the time.
The poster has taken the trouble to actually to put the link on the thread.

I cant help thinking that those Texan cross builders would do well to take a trip to Europe and have a look at some medieval cathedrals . Some of those are jaw dropping , A lot more impressive than a big cross next to a motorway .

Shock tactics for knife carriers
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7503845.stm
"Mrs Smith's proposals will see young people caught carrying knives being made to go to accident and emergency wards, to see for themselves the consequences of stabbings."
Looks like they're blissfully unaware of the fact that many young people don't carry knives intending to cause harm but to defend themselves.

And the knives they carry to defend themselves very often end up being stuck in them.
Difficult situation.
Something has to be done to try to stop kids carrying knives.
Alot of kids who use them and end up in youth offender places simply do not realise the consequences and when they are stuck in a room alone locked up crying into the pillow night after night it's only then that they realise it isn't big to carry knives. The crying into pillow part is from an interview with someone who works with offenders.
