Don't forget 'It' with Pennywise the clown. "We all float down here George." smiley - clownsmiley - evilgrin

The Kubrick version of the Shining is superb. "You've always been the caretaker"

Misery is also excellent and the book is probably my favourite of King's stories.

Nbcdnzr, the dragon was slain, and there was much rejoicing

After having seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind recently, by Charlie Kaufman, wich was pretty good, I saw Adaptation today. Despite the fact that Nicholas Cage and Merryl Streep star in it, it was superb. Nicholas Cage was really convincing. And the story had so many layers, I think I'm going to see it again.

A less known film I can recommend is Grave of the Fireflies. It's a really emotional animated movie about a boy and his sister in Japan during WW2. A real tearjerker if you're susceptible to it.

"Lost in Translation"

It's amazing in that it accurately captures the feeling of being in a place that is completely alien to you, but mostly just being very bored about it.

It also reminded me of what I liked about Japan. Which is that It's simultaniously the most awful thing imaginable and the best thing ever.

Watched Shark Tale yesterday but was unimpressed.

I got very annoyed by the live prawns being pinky orange.

Mine..Mine..Mine..
Finding Nemo is one of my favorite movies. I bought it on DVD and the extras are worth the money.
Still, it's a movie with a heart and plenty of jokes for grown-ups. Or anyone for that matter.
One of my favourite scenes is when the fish are arguing over dental tools!
There's so much to look at in this movie.

Ami of zx - no badgers here!

Loved Finding Nemo, my favorites were Bruce the shark and Nigel the pelican (reminds me of my dad!)

Had a huge movie weekend, watched the orginal three star wars back to back, then a couple episodes of red dwarf and coupling, then the blues brothers! It rocked!

Actually, that 'chhhss chsss' noise you can hear is my brain frying

Anyway, don't all fly off at once
