I've just googled marilyn Monroe, and it seems she had eleven *toes*.
I'm sceptical about Daryll Hannah now, because I couldn't find anything obvious. You'd think a juicy nugget like that would be all over the www.

Actually it seems there is something about her Daryl Hanna's fingers, but it's too few, not too many:
From IMDb: "[Daryl Hanna] Is missing part of her left hand index finger. She sometimes uses a prosthetic finger in movies."

Mickey Mouse had fingers missing too. Walt discovered that a five-fingered hand looked like a bunch of bananas, wheras a four fingered hand looked normal. When I did Graphical User Interface design for a living, I used to refer to the principle of 'Mickey Mouse's Fingers' to mean 'less is more'.
Dave Allen has lots of different versions of why he has a prosthetic finger. The one that was on the radio recently was 'I put my finger down on the tree stump. My father raised the axe. He didn't think I'd keep my finger there...and I didn't think he'd bring the axe down.'
Ooch!

Humans have a nipple line: it is a curved line that starts in the armpit, heads towards the normal position of the nipples, then straight down the body. Extra nipples (in addition to the normal two) always lie on this line.

it is possible we are both right. from a site on polydactyly:
'Usually, when a digit has duplicated, each half is somewhat smaller than usual, and it is common for the joints to angle to the sides, often in mirror image zig zag directions.'
http://www.e-hand.com/hw/hw024.htm
if hannah's superfluous digit has since been removed the 'remaining' digit would appear as if part of it were missing.

Let me know the results of the freeze frame...
I'm quite leary of the extra digit of Daryl Hanna.

Baron Grim Posted Mar 11, 2005
Hmmm...
Google does not recognize "leery" as an official word (according to its dictionary).

i have no idea what it means regardless of spelling.
according to hannah herself she lost the finger in an accident at a well.
"Actress DARYL HANNAH starred in Splash and Blade Runner while missing part of her left index finger. In a 2001 story in The Sunday Times of South Africa, Hannah explained: "I got my finger stuck in the pulley of a well at my grandmother's house when I was three." Good luck spotting the missing digit onscreen: it's almost always hidden behind gloves, coats, guns, etc. " http://rachielefamily.blogspot.com/
but i find this unlikely, particularly given the scarcity of info on the matter as noted earlier. outside of hiding it for character reasons, i see no reason why this would be a fact to be concealed. even the gutter press had trouble working it out.
'Actress Daryl Hannah, who appeared in "Splash" and "Blade Runner," is missing part of her index finger also. She sometimes uses a prosthetic finger in movies. So far, Who has not heard exactly how Hannah lost the finger -- if indeed she ever had one there -- but they're still researching this important issue.' http://wbab.com/morningshow/lostfinger.html
but i'm going with the simplest explanation. that she had the relatively common condition of polydactyly (as i first heard it), had it corrected resulting in a smaller remaining digit, and not un naturally doesn't want to talk about it.
bottom line, i can't prove this one.

what i'd do for an edit button. scrub the second post as well as the first.
GEORGE W. BUSH is the 43rd president, but there actually have only been 42 presidents: Cleveland was elected for two nonconsecutive terms and is counted twice, as the 22nd and 24th president.
since 5 us presidents are alive, that means there are 37 dead us presidents.
an improbability factor of 1 in 9470.3179849543342327580181211753 approximately for dying on 4th july.

All Russian leaders have alternated between having a full head of hair, and being somewhat bald.
Example: Lenin/Bald Stalin/Hairy and so on down the line to Putin.
Key: Complain about this post
