THREAD 101
A Super Furry Animal Posted Jan 17, 2004
we seem to be drifting somewhat here...
Televised sport: I think we need to throw this one open to the audience. Please vote yes or no.
As for tea in motorway service stations, I would extend it to all beverages and consign them to thread 101

So far: IN 2 OUT 0.

MMF - Keeper of Mustelids, with added P.M.A., is now in a relationship. Posted Jan 17, 2004
Yea, verily I say unto you, all should be consigned into the inferno that is Thread 101, for I deem it as being an over-paid, under-acheived alleged sport that should, by rights be called Theatre, with each performer being compeled to hold an Equity Card, and get paid such fees as agreed by Union rates.
It is the Weakest Sport......Good-bye.
....I thank you.......You are too kind...
*Bows..........*

Can we throw in sports commentators and sports 'journalists' as well?
THREAD 101
A Super Furry Animal Posted Jan 17, 2004
I take it that's two more votes for *all* (and I do mean *all*) televised sports to be consigned to thread 101?
Be very careul...this means no more Australian rules football, England rugby world cup victories, tennis, cricket (test and one day)...
You shoor about this?
THREAD 101
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Jan 18, 2004
No more Australian Rules football?
No more cricket broadcasts with inane commentary like 'That was the third highest run rate achieved on this ground by a left-handed batsman with filling in the molars in the lower jaw and a pet ferret called Simon since Fred Bloggs in 1932'? again!
Ivan.

Madbeachcomber, I've done my spring cleaning, does that make me sad? Posted Jan 18, 2004

Delia Smith.
Keep the recipes if you want, but *she* is annoying. The way everything is measured to the last microgram. In fact, I'd like all kitchen pedants to be consigned to 101.
Ivan.

All of the following:
Football
Clowns
Valentine's Day
Jimmy Saville
Saturday Exams (One of Oxford University's more unpleasant traditions)
My Boyfriend's University Course (which insists on sending him to the other side of the world next year and I'm a selfish battleaxe!)
