Jimcracker - you should move to Suffolk - we've had glorious weather for weeks now. We could do with some rain actually (my lawn is brown
), there was a brief storm here yesterday afternoon but that was the only proper rain I've seen this month.

The wild weather that has been forecast for nearly a week has arrived! It rained heavily for most of the night and we've had one fairly hefty shower this morning. It's much cooler than it has been, but not cold by any means, probably around 17 degrees C. Very windy, dry at the moment but judging by the colour of the sky, the next rain storm is nor far away.

Cold 11C freezing north wind blowing straight off the alps (aussie alps I mean seems it has been snowing up there)

London, near Wimbledon, 15:32. It is tipping down and howling a gale too. I keep flicking the telly on to see a bunch of outwardly composed but slightly frantic-eyed presenters and sports personalities trying desperately to think of what to fill time with next as everyone troops back off the tennis court and the tarpaulin flutters about.
