But you want an individual person to have a relationship with, so you can't generalise. Nor can you decide in advance what characteristics your future soul mate should have.

Surely you saying that women like subtlety is also generalising.

I'd just like to be able to just ask a girl out for dinner, and have her understand what that means. Instead of having to provide some written letter stating that I intend to court them.

If it means what I think you want it to mean, you can hire women to have dinner with you and then feel obligated to have sex, too.

I wondered if it was really necessary to expand on that. I guess it was. If I ask a girl out, it doesn't mean I expect sex. It does however mean I expect them to tell me if they are already in a relationship, and to understand that I'm not just looking for a new friend.
