Gnomon was just doing an impression of Marvin... Not putting him down chips...
I love the clunky Marvin of the TV series... And I love the look of the film Marvin... Rickman did a great job as the voice... but there was something about the motion picture Marvin that didn't feel right. That I can't put my finger on...

He's to new he looks okay.
He orght to have robotic slits across his arms for hiss happy days and a nuke to his head on a bad day (wich is most of the time).
or it could be that the clean white finnish and smooth movement make him look happy untill he speaks.
The old one was a deppressing metalic gray (not silver). and had a mornful turn of speed and didnt seem to be able to walk up stairs. all reasons to be depresedno matter what personality chip you've got

marvin was the best thing about the mediocore series (not that there were any mediocore parts there were the great bits and the bad bits. The overall effect was meocracy though). And the new one fitted well into the film but was nowt special. So the old one made the old series alot better were as the new one was a bit unessery.

I liked the TV Marvin better. The movie one was ok, though.

I still haven't seen the movie... I've heard some not to great things about it though. I hope to see it soon and decide for myself!
I love Marvin though and I force his wisdom upon all that I meet.
Pure genius!
Brain the size of a planet and they ask me to pick up a piece of paper. Call that job satisfaction? 'Cause I don't.
I love it! Someone more pessimistic than me, finally.

Nice quote ff! Somewhere on this site there is something called P.U.D.D.I.N.G which is specifically for pessimistic little souls like yourself; you might enjoy that....oooer...that rather defeats the object though??? Dunno, confused & it's 7am & i really shouldn't be doing this.

What time!!! Here (Toronto, Ontario or thereabouts) it's 1:16am, I always forget about time changes!!!
What am I doing on the computer at quarter after one in the morning?
Simple! I just got a new laptop (that works, unlike my last one that was free) and I quit my job recently. It's great to be unemployed!!!!
Thanks for the advice... and don't worry about being confused, most people are and they're just in denial

Te he! It seems there's only me and you on here right now, i am in France & it's 7.30am, so i am definitely both and a, but maybe you are a bit odd too? Jolly good, welcome to the club!
I seem to be doing the ACE bit on several different places with you, but you seem to be OK, if there's anything you are not sure of, just reply to any of my messages & i will get back to you. Maybe not immediately, but i will soon, promise!
If you want to say hello to some nice people, come over to my journal space & chat on the "Eye Dunno" thread. Maybe start a journal of your own too? It's a good way of letting people know what's going on.
Hey, did you see this plane accident? Air France Paris to Toronto, skidded off the runway, amazingly nobody hurt despite it bursting into flames. to the emergency services.

Yes, I did hear about the accident... apparently people were running onto the highway and getting rides in to the airport. It's amazing that no one was seriously injured!
And I have been described as very odd... especially by friends and siblings' friends... my family is used to me and a lot of them are odd anyways.
I'm not quiet sure how to visit your space... I'll try to figure it out, but it may take me a while!

Right, to visit anyones Personal Space, click on the highlighted name at the top of this ie; the sender is terri & yoda & all that. This will take you direct to their space, where you can read whatever nonsense they wrote about themselves.
If you want to start a personal convo with them, find "discuss this entry" & click (with me, its under the alien!!!)
Then, on the left side will be journal space, which people use often to contact their regular friends, if you add buddies to your friends list, you automatically get to see if they write new stuff on their journal.
Enough, any more would blind you with science & it's 8am here! Glad you are self confessed loopy hoopy frood, you can never have too many of them! Welcome to h2g2!

I've worked out that if I stick my left finger in my right ear, I can electrocute myself. Would you like me to do it? It's no trouble...
