We'll be getting our first frosts of winter, next week. I remember the winters in the 60's when it was so cold that it would burst the water pipes, but it is rarely happens now.

I wish I'd been able to talk our local powers-that-be in to intercepting a bit more of it before it got there.
Drought emergency in California + snow emergency in New England and Labrador is bad arithmetic.

Thank you Paul that would be wonderful if we got lots of as I notice that when it snows it dulls any loud noises and becomes very quiet.

Yes, I like that about snow. It's kind of like the silver lining behind every dark cloud -- except when there's an even *darker* cloud behind that dark cloud .
