Okay sorry this isn't a quote. Don't you think that each posting should contain the text/film/program the quote was from?
I've noticed Star Wars, Othello, Blackadder, h2g2 and Python so far but we should educate poeple in great quotes by annoting each.
My last post was from Red Dwarf.

(((When I first vaguely thought about this game, my origional idea was that people could have a conversation or try vainly to make a story out of quotes, and the next person who came along would have to say where the quote came from and continue the story, but its entirely possible that that would be a exceedingly tricky .

I also hadnt really figured on every posting having to be a quote: the possibility of oblique references to quotes was also part of the idea, so that sense could be made (a friend of mine and I used to try and include references to HHGTTG in EVERY sentence we said in the presence of another friend of ours who thought our constant sci fi referencing was really annoying, to see if she would notice. Rather cruel now that I think about it, but the point is we then tried to catch one another out with really obscure references, and I thought something similar might work here, but completely failed to get the point across in the origional posting ).

So ok, the quote should be labelled then. (rather obscurely, "you had better watch out" was taken from the blurb on the back cover of Hogfather by Terry Pratchet, a bit too obscure for my origional game plan probably. )))
