We don't get games that are quite so interesting here at the Shiny New Learning Centre of Farce. We have had people playing catch with a stress ball, running up and down through the stacks, though. They were sharply reprimanded.

I use chopstick wrappers. My favorites are the ones that say, "Welcome to Chinese Restaurant. please try your Nice Chinese Food With Chopsticks the traditional and typical of Chinese glonous history and cultual."

I have actually used the page of a book to mark my place in it. To my credit, the page was loose - the glue was broken at the binding - so it wasn't like I had to tear it out.

We find all sorts of interesting things left inside books. But nothing as interesting as the packet of white powder David found a few years back. How does one forget their little packet of white powder? Oh! Right. They're stoned.

To be fair, I didn't find the packet of white powder, one of my colleagues did. And thankfully, I wasn't the one who found the other, less savoury, bookmark either. I just have the conversations with users that make me want to bash my brains out...
Today:
User : None of the computers work?
Me : Oh, I'm sorry. Mine is working OK. What are you trying to do?
User : Log on! Have you changed my password? It worked before.
Me : Let me see...
[I watch the user.]
Me : Ah, I see. Maybe it'll work if you don't click on 'Cancel' next time?
User : What should I click instead?
Me : Let's try 'enter'.
[I watch user]
User : Oh, wow!
