Boy trouble. Nice expression. I wish it were just that.
The fact is, rejection is easier to shrug off when the rest of your life is interesting and engaging. The fact is, I don't really like my job. This, at best. At worst, that is when I'm having a bad day on other fronts (I know I swore off boys, but the more you do, the more it seems like fantastic ones will throw themselves at you), I wish I could hurl the PC out of the window and follow it. It's just insufferable.
I've tried all my usual remedies - good music, exercising - but it's not working very well. Then I realise that I MUST do something about my paranoia, my inferiority complex, the fact that I never seem to get it right because I'm just so insecure, and it must show, somehow.
I just don't know where to start.

Any news on the book? Perhaps that will take the place of the hated job one day soon?
Good luck at feeling better about yourself, you always seem quite admirable to me. Is it just a bad day or a more long term thing?

That's the crux of the problem. No response from the publishers (perhaps unsurprisingly, but definitely discouragingly) and no new job prospects.
It is definitely a long-term thing. I have no faith in myself. When I feel better it is always a tacked-on thing, dependant on external factors, and not coming from any inner strength.

Inner strength, now thats something I am begining to get a handle on. Never give up, you are worth it!

Thanks guys I really wish you knew me in real life. I'm a good girl. Maybe too good for my own good.
