h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The summer seems endless this year
Which has given me this here idear
I'll two-wheel it from now on
If the weather'd allow one
With a grin from right ear to left ear

There's been little rain, (that came at night)
If this trend keeps up I just might
Give the car to the needy
Sell it, if I'm greedy
And get the bike running just right

I might be a bit over-bold
It could, I suppose, become cold
Or rain, maybe snow
Sleet? You never know
Naw... these things can all be controlled

I'm counting on sun and warm weather
And me on my wing in black leather
My luck cannot wane
I'll own the fast lane
A flawless plan I've put together

To make melancholia subside
Sometimes all I can do is just ride
If that fails I just
Do whatever I must
And abide what the world may provide

We've had snow to our ears since December
And it is colder than I can remember
I should pack my regalia
And fly to Australia
To ride with a "Mostly Harmless" member
