I feel all now: I knew it, but had forgotten about it. I mean, I've been using this option for months. Curiously enough, I just stumbled upon it on some researcher's page so I cut-and-paste it onto the GuideML version of my own PS to see what it was supposed to do. Naturally enough, nothing more happened, hence my confusion
