hi i was wanting to put a song on my page but i understand there maybe copyright issues 
if i gave them credit would that help ?? say i put a quote from shakespeare would there be a copyright issue ??

Hi STAR FLEET 
Yes there are copyright laws on songs, and anything else that any one else has written, and I don't think it realy makes much difference if you give them credit
shakespeare is different, he has been dead for more than 70 years,( 70 years being the limit in law ) so you can put his whole works on here if you want 
but if you want to check that I am right ( we can all make misteaks )
then why not have a look at the <./>HouseRules-Copyright</.>
