h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Please will you tell me the guideml codes for boxes, numbered lists, texts lists, bulleted lists and dashed lists. Thank you. I am doing entries on guideml for people who have little or no desk-top publishing or word processing training or experience. I have had a lot of word processing experience and some desk-top publishing knowledge but I find the information on how to spice your user pager up or on guideml very hard to understand and it must be worse for those who have no computer experience.

It is up to you but I would think again if I was you about making entries on guideml untill you know it realy well

you are going to get a lot of question about why it don't work on there page, and on othere things to do with GuildML
and you will need to know the answers

Manda but I have used or tried to use the help and advice from the guideml clinic but I failed to grasp the information given. It is basically a directory of guideml codes and the information I cannot understand. When you learn computers you are not expected to learn 10 codes a time. They do not have a place to show you what are the basic codes are. The language that they use goes over my head. I have told them about this but they said I am the only with who cannot understand it. They said they are going to make an easier entry but I have looked at the one and the information is incorrect or has been written tongue in cheek. I find this frustrating and it makes fell I must thick if I am only the one who can't understand the avice give.

All that I am saying is that I dont think that you know enough about GuideML to write entries on guideml for other people,

why don't you try to learn a bit at a time
