Hello JTG! Happy new year 2003!
I wish you joy and peace and a good year!
Everything is fine with me! I have a new job closer to my home
and work less time and with nice people and lovely children!
I needed all my courage to leave my steady job,but I think this will now soon be steady too.I got it directly in october and since then
I have been starting up this new unit (called Whinnie The pooh)and its been great! But when Christmas finally came I was so tired!!!
So I´m full of hope! Here it is very cold and I feed the birds in my little garden! /peace /towells

Thank you. Those things would be nice to have.
I wish that all those who enjoy running around with guns would find a nice patch of shade and enjoy watching the children play.
My wish for you is that you find happiness and contentment in your new job, free of worries and needless complications.

We have also had a lot of snow falling, but it is not very deep on the ground, only three or four inches. Do you like to ski? Or do you, like me, prefer to enjoy the snow from indoors? What was your Tibet book about? I hope you had a good holiday.

Our cat has had a variety of names, some more flattering than others, and most the result of his behaviour, good or bad. His official name, the one that the vet knows him by, is Tac.
He came to us after living at a number of other homes, where he seems to have outstayed his welcome. But he is a cherished part of our household, and here to stay. He's much better bahaved now that he is older, anyway.

HI JTG!... &Tac
The book I read was :The Sull Mantra by Eliot Pattison,
interesting and complicated intrigue,
with adeep knowledge about how things are in Tibet...
poetic language..exiting thriller...worth reading.
Have You read it?
Here we still have snow and it´s cold..Brrr..
I once had a cat called Simson and then one called
Tootsie.
Take care!

Hi.
I've heard of The Skull Mantra, but I haven't read it. There are some very good new books about Tibet. There is a very good book, written by a Tibetan writer named Jamyang Norbu, called 'The Mandala of Sherlock Holmes'. It is the story of Holmes' 'missing years'. He depicts the characters so well that it is easy to believe that you are reading a story by Conan Doyle.
It is still very cold here, too. We had a big snow storm this week. It seems that winter does not want to release its grip on us. Today there is rain in the forecast; then, it is going to freeze again!

Happy Tibetan New Year!

Dreams are all we have at the moment, as it remains very cold and wintery. We have been promised warmer weather for the weekend... Let's hope so!
Sleep well.

Today spring finally came! It has been a wonderful day and really warm. You could see people eating icecream everywhere
and my cheeks are a bit red from the sun.
Take care now JTG ! Let the other people do the hard job!

It was beautiful here today, too.
The parks were full of people. I think some of them really should have been school, but who can blame them? It's been such a long winter.
The nice thing about my work is that it is carefully arranged so that it only looks hard.
Take care not to get a sunburn. It's easy to get a nasty burn in the spring, after being wrapped up in winter clothing for so long. Hopefully, the nice weather will stay with us for a while.

The weather has been beautiful here today, too. Finally, I think, we are going to have spring. Winter seems to have gone on for so long. The weather keeps teasing us. We have a few nice days, then frost and gloomy skies again. I hope that things will improve now.
The bulbs are starting to grow here. I saw some daffodils just starting to pop up today. Soon there will be hyacinths and early tulips in flower. I think all of the migrating birds have returned. There seem to be a great many of them.
Say "hi" to Oskar for me. We mustn't begrudge the rabbits a little nibble.

Hello!
Do you have any wasps or mosquitos?
I like all earthly sunsets and beautiful quiet gardens with water fountains and...strawberries and the sea...but not these hungry animals!Bzzzzzz

Hello.
We have plenty of mosquitos... more than enough ! There aren't many wasps yet. They usually become a bigger part of summer activities towrads the end of August; but everything seems to be running late this year.
Strawberries and sunsets (sunrises over the lake are better) we have, and gardens that I hope people will find beautiful. Unfortunately, the Great Lakes have to substitute for the sea. They are certainly big enough and wet enough. But I don't think they are anywhere near salty and teeming with life enough.
