h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have met someone I really like, we went out dinner last night at one of my favourite restaurants, and had a wonderful evening...

Then he had to dash off to catch a train to take him back to where he is staying...

Today he will be making his way back to where he is based, 600 miles North of me.... and in 2 weeks he will be based in the Falklands for 4 months...

So I repeat... 'CURSE YOU CUPID'!!!!!

But for now I am smiling.... just thinking of his smile...

Not sure, I'm punishing him at the moment for annoying me!

He'll phone eventually and I'll decide then! ... if he's online tonight I'll have a word, but one mention of sex or boobs and I'll not be requiring your services (even if B will be devastated at the lack of biscuits in my house!)

Quick update... he's picking me up from work the day he flys out to the Falklands...

Its just a real shame I have to wait 4 months after that to see his smile again....

I've just got to wangle the afternoon off of work... he's landing at Heathrow about 1pm then has a whole 6 hours until he needs to be anywhere else.... wonder how I can fill that time slot?

Another update...

He is firmly planted in the Falklands until February...

But on the upside I had two letters waiting for me when I got back off of holiday and I have spoken to him a couple of times too!

I do worry the time he is away and writing letters that I will fall for a fantasy created in my head rather than the person.. Give me eye to eye and skin contact anyday!

Sounds like you're still having fun then, which is good!

(p.s. do you really go for eye to eye contact? Isn't a bit yucky?)
