Today I joined the Researchers of the Guide, much to my enjoymend.
The posting code here is not unlike html, which is a pitty because html is about as much fun as accidentally kissing your cousin at a costume party. In my alliance-boards, we use forum code (BB code) which I find to be much simpler to use and to learn. But I guess you can't have everything your own way. I have a Mac, you see, so I generally like things to be simple.
Not much else to report, really. I'm going to look into the Guide rules to see about advertising for my alliance. Obviously there's a possibility that it could be majorly frowned upon and I don't want to upset the obviously dedicated workers here. But if it's allowed, I would certainly like to get some of the cool people to join my Hitchhikers alliance - if no reason other than to further spread the world of Douglas Adams.
And what can be wrong with that??

I've read your introduction (but didn't click on the provided link), and as long as it's not a commercial site, I think it should be ok. Just don't post it everywhere you go here, because that would be considered as spamming and/or flooding, which would be in breach with the <./>HouseRules</.>
