Speed Traps?

Speed traps? On Route 9? There's a reason that Rt. 9 is nicknamed "The Airline" and thats because you can pretty much drive as fast as you want with only the moose to worry about

I've seen a lot of cars pulled over in just the past few months on 9. It seems to me that the best cutoff for speed is anything below 70, except in the 45MPH areas where 55-60 is more secure. I've been lasered by the police doing 68-69 without being stopped.

It should be noted that the methods and guidelines for local, county and state law enforcement officials have changed since previous postings, for Route 9 as well as the remainder of the state. It is now strongly encouraged, to maintain speeds no greater than 10MPH above those posted on the standard black on white signage, unless you desire to contribute to the State Treasury. (If so the native taxpayers thank you for the assistance.)
