My grandfather was not a big fan of Toronto. He often told of a contest he heard of: first prize was a week in Toronto, second prize was 2 weeks in Toronto, and third was 3 weeks in Toronto. The implication, of course, is that the less time you spend there the better of you are

That's a shame; Toronto's a great place to spend some time. Although, for a bumpkin like me, it's always nice to get home again, as it can be a bit exhausting.
