Time Vs Improbability

kipperonthefloor - Make sense? What fun is there in Making sense?

Most cross sci-fi discussions involve Star trek's Enterprise and the Tardis.
But what about the Heart of Gol?d (Which would clearly Kick the Enterprise in a race)
So which is better

Against all probability The Starship Enterprise turned into a large lemon cheesecake

have to admit, in the guns stakes, I always thought the enterprise was well weedy. A load of missiles and a laser weapon. OK it was more of a super duper scout ship than a full on battle cruiser but it was a bit carp in the weapons stakes.

Of course, the real question, as has been asked and debated before, is whether the TARDIS and Heart of Gold would be able to actually track each other for long enough to have a fight!

actually thinking about it - if it was improbable that the Heart of Gold would defeat the TARDIS then it would defeat the TARDIS. And if it was actually quite probable that it would defeat the TARDIS then it wouldn't.

But luckily you'd have The Doctor and TARDIS on hand to sort out the ensuing paradox. Probably involves timey-wimey stuff.

Wibbley wobblwy timey wimey stuff.

Definately the improbable would happen. Would the fact that soemthing is improbable and therefore likely to happen, make it not happen, if that makes sense.
