Just to clarify....

My "Oh Happy Days" was in anticipation of getting Moffat, not getting rid of RTD.

A few gripes aside I have loved "new Who" and I am awfully greatful to Mr RTD for bringing back Who!!!

But I am really excited about Moffat being in charge....

It might be a good idea for DT to go as it will give Moffat a chance to use a new actor with a different personality that can lock into Moffats vision rather than having to 'stick' with DT.

Also, it all now goes nicely full circle...Verity Lambert to Moffat. A shame she isn't alive to see the circle complete.

Judging from things that have supposedly been said, it's likely that Tennant will go when RTD does, ie at the end of 2009.

Didn't someone here suggest that this exact course of action be taken...

Some one haas suggested it on every forum that has had Dr Who as a subject.

Apart from Joss Whedon or JMS there really wasn't any other choice.

I really would like to see Joss Whedon do an episode though.... That would be .

I mean we have already had Spike in Torchwood ....

I wish they could get Neil Gaiman to write an episode. I know he's a big fan.

Neil Gaiman is possibly mave very fave british writer.

And "The Sandman" is for my 2cents the best comic in the world.

Him doing some Who episodes would just be terrific....

Oh oh oh. I agree so much. I have everything he's had published. I'd read his shopping lists if he'd let me!! Fabulous, fabulous man.

Problem is, now I have given this some thought I am half expecting it to happen , but I bet it never does.

You know B5 is one Sci-Fi epic that I have never got into.

And yes, go watch it again. I did last year and it just gets better on each watching. Setting stuff up in the first episode for something in the 4th season. THAT is what story arc is all about.

No actually that ISN'T what story arc is about. Story arc is about seeing a story evolve. Setting stuff up early on that one doesn;t know about is just good planning.

RTD's Dr Who seasons do not have story arcs they have a surprise ending.

and the endings tend to be complete cop outs...

Are you kidding? We had, erm, some sort of Godlike powers transferred via an engine, a giant lever and of course John Barrowman randomly shooting the TARDIS. Fantastic, well-thought out, un-rushed endings the lot
