h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Look, I've been avoiding the obvious for months now - I really don't enjoy h2g2 anymore. I don't know why, but I just can't generate any enthusiasm for h2g2. Other than reading articles and maybe writing one ever so often, I don't see myself keeping a very high profile here. Thanks to everyone who made my time here enjoyable while it lasted, and a special thanks to the true Misfits - you know who you are.

Hi Jimi, how are you? I've peeked in here once in a while to see what (if anything) is going on, so I knew about the shutdown and reopening. But I don't spend more than a few minutes on h2g2 anymore, maybe once every week or two. I've just lost the urge to spend time here.....I think I overdosed! I doubt I'll ever really come back.

Thanks for visiting, by the way, I think you are the only one who has done so. That's ok, I don't post anything anymore anyway.

I'm not doing the sandbox baseball this year - I'm boycotting sandbox because they paid Bobby Knight $50,000 to pick the NCAA bracket. Paying Knight anything is a big sin in my world - I'm not sure I'll drink minute maid oj anymore either.

Incidentally, I did horrible picking the tournament this year - I only got Arizona right (other picks were Stanford, Kentucky, and Florida).

My final four were Arizona, Duke, MSU and Stanford - and I've got 'Zona and Duke in the finals with 'Zona winning it all. If that scenario plays out, I'm in big money in our office pool as this is hardcore Big Ten (11?) country.
