Post 1

The H2G2 Editors

Just a reminder that we're moving from offices - from our current base in Central London to work alongside our colleagues in West London - tomorrow. Any moderation issues that arise from tomorrow will not be addressed until Monday (7th February). Thank you in advance for your patience.

In the old European tradition (and a la It's A Wonderful Life) here's:

...so you may never go hungry.
...so life may alway have flavour.
smiley - redwine ...so you may always have laughter.

...but then that just points out the pressing necessity of creating bread and salt smilies, doesn't it? smiley - erm

Enjoy your new digs!

smiley - cheers

MMF - Keeper of Mustelids, with added P.M.A., is now in a relationship.

Have fun...smiley - smiley... 'They' (whoever 'they' are!) say it is the second most stressful time of your life, so if it gets too much the 237 bus takes 30 mins to get to The Express Tavern, Kew Bridge Station, Brentford (Kew North By Thames) where I'll treat you to a relaxing smiley - ale or smiley - redwine.
Hope it all goes well.....

smiley - cheers

...Unfortunately it's a long way...

This is beginning to sound like a good news, bad news joke. smiley - laugh

It's a shorter distance for me to head East to get there, but only if I go over the poles.smiley - brr I think I'll stay warmer if I just slip into Coal Harbour and swim around Vancouver Island, SW to the Indian Ocean, through the Canal and then a short spurt to Gibralter. Will you meet me there?smiley - biggrin

Ah, yes. Reminds me of the old tale of the Scottish lady who rings her cousin in British Columbia, all excited that her son is going to Canada.

"...his boat gets in at 7pm at Halifax. Can you meet him there?"

"You meet him. You're closer."
