I think I may own too many CDs
egon Started conversation Sep 1, 2004
I've been sorting through all my stuff, ina dvance of beginning a gradual move home, and I temporarily had, in my lounge, a pile of CDs as tall as me. Unfortunately, the pile then collapsed, so there are now two piles half the height of me. And a rack of Cds as well. And a lounge full of DVDs, videos, books and records.
This may take some time...

I,ve just broken a shelf, from the sheer weight on vinyl albums I still possess. This lead to an invetory of said collection - Why is there a Julio Englasias album in there ? Why are there 2 Klaus Wonderlich albums ?

Egon, you're a lightweight. I'm half seriously considering moving to a bigger house so that I get more wall space to put up shelves. There isn't anywhere in my lounge where I can realistically put more shelf space

Indeed why any ? Though I'm glad to have found my 'Round The Horne' Album, and (what I was looking for) my Hitchhikers albums.
?? Mario Lanza ?? Where did THAT come from ?

I keep the 500 CDs or so that I never listen to in cold storage in my Mum's loft. My visible collection consists of about 250.

I should point out that my CDs in Sunderland only reprtesent less than half of my total colelction- only the stuff I brought up to uni with me three eyars ago, and the stuff (much) that I've acquired since.
TAnz- you can have my Paul Young greatest hits CD if you're willing to pay the postage...

*tries to work out what postage is these days...for some reason it seems more expensive to send things from UK than to it...*

Oi! Tanzen! Why not just P2P them and then get him to *destroy* the originals? All my CDs are on my iPod now, I hardly ever play any. It's the 21st century! Didn't you ever see 2001 or Buck Rogers?
Good to see you around. (Or even asquare.)

B- has it got "right here waiting" on?
(not such a daft question, I have a Chris ISaak CD without "Wicked Game")

Quality artist, Chris Issak.
**wanders off to check CD rack**
It does not have Right Here Waiting on it. Nor does it have Hazard. This could explain why I don't listen to it very much.
