Hmm, anyone else know particularly vivid words? There's 'vivid' itself, and 'gouged;' how about 'ripped' or 'shimmer?'

Perhaps we could compile a list of these words and prohibit their use in conversation? Especially by clumsy people like Egon and myself.

Am I the only one who thinks 'prohibit' sounds mushroomy?

We had lunch on Monday, then kind of mooched round the city cerntre during the afternoon. And, fittingly, when we walked into Music Zone they were playing Crowded House's "fall At Your Feet" on the stereo.

Heh, coincidences like that don't happen every week...

Shame Simon bates isn't still on t'radio. It could be "our tune"...

When people begin to use the phrase "our tune" it makes me want to smack them...

It's *not* a shame that Simon Bates is no longer on the radio. I remember him quite clearly as a smug tosser with extremely poor taste in music

The best coincedental music moment I had was last year, when I was in a chemist's picking up my then-girlfriend's prescription. There was a bit of a queue in there, so I waited, and 'The Drugs Don't Work' by the Verve came on the radio. I was half expecting Dom Joly to walk in, and do an about-turn and walk out again.

Now that would have been quite amusing...

Strangely, I was the only one in there to bat so much as an eyelid. Still can't work out why. I mean, I know it's a very multi-cultural community in my neck of the woods and all, but the staff at least spoke good English.

Well Egon, maybe this girl is your karmic payout for all your tumbles and falls

Me and my girl have a song...I don't know what it's really called, but it is referred to as "the chickenhead song"...that's us though...hopeless romantics
