Allegedly he only lives just next door, which seems highly unlikely unless Sunderland is considerably more accommodating than most of the Universities I've seen.

I have never siad I live just next door- It's a good seven/eight minute walk away. And I don't live on university halls either- i ahve a city centre flat which is why it's so close. However, stopping at the kebab shop for a haggis meant I missed the first ten minutes.
