h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

First journal entry for a while. Just to share that I'm off to the US to watch a couple of abseball games and fit in some gnerally touristy stuff as well. Four nights in NEw York (And tuesday night at Shea Stadium) followed by two nights in Chicago (US Cellular Field on the Wednesday). And I'm really rather excited. I've only been to the states once before,a christmas trip to Boston in 2002, so I'm really looking forward to it. i leave on Sunday, and am pleased to hear that I can now take hand luggage on the plain, provided I don't take anything so dangerous as a bottle of water with me.

One of the items on my things to do before I die list is to see a game in every major league ballpark. So I think you've picked a perfect vacation activity.
