h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Yeah, 3am. 'Twas fun. I'd said I was going to be late in, but by the time I woke I figured I'd take the half day that I was going to take next week. I tried to call up but couldn't get hold of my line manager, so just took the half day and hoped. Turned out she was off sick, so I still don't know if it was okay! Ah well.

Burlesque was fun. The acts themselves were only a few minutes apiece, so there were a good ten or so in each half. It was all good fun, but I'm not sure if I could strip down that much! Then there was dancing with strangers and kissing of random girl-with-yellow-neckcloth. Which was fine except for the ongoing tobacco issue.

Still, next month we've all agreed that we'll definitely get the 11:59 train regardless of when the show finishes, which might be enough to convince me to go along again. Oh- it turns out there are only four lessons in the set.

Girl-with-yellow-neckcloth? You didn't even get a name? Hussy! :D

Glad you had a cool time. I hopefully should be able to come next time - here's hoping!

I've also called Manning Stainton and agreed for them to sell my house. Eeep! Just need to go in over the weekend to sign paperwork.
