Very good posting- can I add one thing? Although the Ryder Cup is held regularly between Europe and the USA, the American fans seem a little puzzled as to the whole concept of the game. There really is no need to shout "In the hole!" everytime a player hits the ball: that is the whole point of the game and one that the players would have grasped very early on.
