I'm getting together my list of who to call when Notepad arrives. Anyone here want to be added? I'm planning on adding a bit to my calling card, which has good overseas rates.

I can't find my address books (one for the US and one for Everywhere Else, since the numbers are rather long elsewheresmiley - tongueout) so I'll need an email, or you can comment at http://amy-paperlady.livejournal.com/61199.html (I'm screening the comments, so they'll be privatesmiley - ok)

While I do want to be the one that makes the general announcement here, like last time, UNLIKE last time I won't take the time to write a huge long post--I'll do a quick announcement and write details later. Even though watching tac and 2legs nearly explode with not-telling made for fun backlogsmiley - winkeye

Well, unless you want to some calories fidgeting (smiley - winkeye) I would just relax for now--while I *have* dropped, there haven't been any other indications. That said, Notepad's due the 20th, Faith came 9 days early, and, because of the gestational diabetes, everyone would be just as happy if Notepad came any time now, since she's far enough along for there to be no problem (I most likely won't be allowed to deliver late--may get induced soon after my due date, if needed, so Notepad doesn't get too big, though she's running about a week small...)

I just hope that I don't have to head to the hospital the middle of the night on the 10th/11th, because Faith has a huge fieldtrip on the 11th, that she has to be at the school for at 6am, and I don't want her to resent the fact that she couldn't go because of her sistersmiley - erm

Speaking of resenting one's little sister/brother....

I was six when my younger brother was born. In the six-year interval, scientists had figured out the Rh Factor, and they knew that my brother (as the third of my parents' children) would need a complete blood transfusion as soon as he was born. My 11-year-old sister was able to fend for herself at home while my parents were whisking my newborn brother 40 miles to Children's Hospital in Boston for the transfusion, but as a 6-year-old I was going to need a temporary alternate gome. So, they arranged for me to stay overnight at another family's house. It seemed kind of exciting, though it was of course a disruption in my life. I got to see how another family lived, which appealed to my sense of curiosity. smiley - smiley
So, I can definitely relate to Faith's concerns about her life being disrupted.
