A Conversation for Faculty of Science, Mathematics and Engineering
Project: Calculus
Spelugx the Beige, Wizard, Perl, Thaumatologically Challenged Started conversation Jun 25, 2003
A light introduction to calculus. I've tried to stick to what was the proposed idea of about 5 pages for a project. I've been letting this idea crystallise for a few weeks now, so I might as well go for it!
The project page is A1076825, but the important details are highlighted below:
* Project Name: Calculus
* Field Researcher: Spelugx (U183117)
* Department: Mathematics & Statistics
* Faculty: Science and Mathematics
* Start Date: 25th June 2003
* End Date: 1st August 2003 (or sooner depending on the finalisation of the university)
* Assisting Sub-Editor: RhoMuNuQ (U203385)
Pages currently in progress:
1. A History of Calculus
2. The basis of differential calculus
3. Further differential calculus
4. The basis of integral calculus
5. Further integral calculus
I've currently got some notes for this offline which I will try and type up over the week end so that there's some solid articles on h2g2. It should certainly be possible over the required timeframe.

Rho's just reminded me that the end date is a bit too far away for his subbing, so I should clarify that that's when I'd expect to have it finished being subbed. I should be written over the next two weeks.

so, how's it going along? If you need a proofreader, just ask me. I've been into that matter as far out as nabla, div and rot but that's been a couple of days ago
