Yet more justification for spending my hard earned pennies on a shower radio! My standard reasoning is "I might miss something interesting" despite the fact I've not yet quantified what interesting things I might miss on breakfast radio, and I ussually get up when something dull is on, like the news.

But still, I want one!

I didn't know such an item existed!

Now, just with the mere knowledge of its existence, I feel a shower radio might be indispensable.

I was lucky enough to receive one for my birthday this year.

It's yellow and fish-shaped, tuned by fiddling with its fin and has become an essential part of my morning ritual.
It has the inexplicable additional feature of an unfriendly red alarm button which emits an ear-splitting shriek when accidentally leant on whilst showering. This is best avoided...

Odd. But I do like that it's a fish!
Gotta get me one of those!

I will offer 50 custard creams for a shower radio! How could I afford to miss 5 Live "Breakfast" or Littlejohn's 6-0-6?

I got one for a Christmas gift back in high school. It stopped receiving the channels after awhile. I went from thrashing with the Sex Pistols to humming to Neil Sedaka.

Do these radio shower carry a warning on them? Not about using such an item in the shower, but about the possibility of uncool music.

I borrowed my dad's radio once for a holiday with some high school pals in the Scottish Highlands. After a while his radio would only tune into Radio 2. Talk about embarrassing.

Not sure what to do now. I really want a shower radio (especially one that resembles a fish) but I'm having doubts...
