Hi Fish31 and welcome to h2g2! 
There's certainly a lot to see and do here. But one of the first things that new Researchers are asked is to write a brief introduction on their personal space. Even a simple 'hi' is enough.
Then the ACEs (Assistant Community Editors) can visit your personal space and give you a warm welcome with some tips of places to visit and stuff.
Do give it a try - I'm sure it'll make your first few days a little less confusing.

i'm new.
but also very old.
a great man has appreciated his fish and left for a new voyage in another street of the universe.
greatly missed, hope to see him soon visiting this old planet we call dirt.
