That was scary!
I think I'll try to make wine of the watermelons. I know some tricks.
And then there was something about watermelon sugar...

I've tasted watermelon-flavored candy. It's delicious. I can easily imagine wine with that flavor. It's not a big stretch.

The normal thing to do is drill a hole in the watermelon. The hole should be so big that you can put the neck of a vodka bottle into it. Pour the vodka into the melon and serve it up

I'm rather fond of Watermelon Oranges... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGsAwBCzkhc

Those oranges were not bad at all.
Capt'n, could you bring me some vodka?

If we're growing watermelons here in the greenhouse, then I wonder how the blossoms get pollinated. Is there a hive of honeybees or bumblebees here?
The Greenhouse
shagbark Posted Nov 30, 2011
hati would have the answer to that. She always surprises us with what we find here.

There are ants everywhere. No surprise.
The dinosaurs are researchers who came for a visit and apparently stayed.

I wouldn't like to have watermelons in the size for being pollinated by dinosaurs, though.

Good point!
If I remember my botanical history correctly, dinosaurs would not have had anything to pollinate, as flowering plants came along after the dinos went extinct. The dinosaurs we have now are probably exempt from pollination duties because of their contracts.
