And not only pleasure or pain. I had my tongue pierced for none of these reasons. Not for pleasure, pain, kudos from my friends or fashion. I did it because I wanted to. A reminder of my fast diminishing youth and a desire to create a certain mysteque about myself that the older generation usually have a problem accepting. Its also fun, if you catch my drift :o)
