a lovely beach and nothing else unless you like golf because thats the only other thing you'll see .

The castle (featuring the only bottle dungeon outside the Vatican) and the cathedral are fascinating, even if you are uninterested in the history of the Scottish reformation. Only a very very little imagination is necessary to enjoy these.
