I have played the violin in the North Staffordshire Symphony orchestra for many years and really enjoy the misic and meeting the people who attend the concerts - we have a following of over 100 regular in the audience.
Our next concert is on Saturday 24th March 2007 at The Jubilee Hall, Stoke-on-Trent at 7.30pm. There is a guest conductor - Ewa Strusinska a Polish lady who is currently studying at The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. The Leader is Sheila Dexter and the programme comprises:-
Overture-The Wasps -Vaughan Williams
Horn Concerto No 1 - Richard Strauss -Soloist - Paul Sellers
Symphony No. 2 - Vaughan Williams (London Symphony)
This is a public concert and everyone is invited.
