Just thought I'd say "Hello"

because I saw your article about Java I am just learning Java at the moment. Up to now I've been using Visual Basic (and before that QBasic!). I think that Java is great because of its portability; I've often had trouble in the past with VB when trying to install a program on another computer (along with the hundreds of huge system files).
