Monday night was Suree's surprise birthday party-- I met a tall woman named Gina who played the accordion for me. I also hit on Suree's cousin Vanessa, like every other man in the room. I drank a gooey chocolate Polish liquor named Advocatos mixed with Guiness.
Another Sarah Schooley sighting, this time at James's "Going Away Party" Tuesday night. Greeley people were there, along with Catherine Crouch, John & Maura, and mangy punk Mark. James showed the one-hour cut of his "Jimda" movie, and I was completely blown away by the footage of him calling me in the middle of the night. I remember picking up the phone in the pile of videotapes and clothes next to my mattress in the old apartment.
