Yow can't wash yor ands in a bison.
Noddy Holder was going to a 70's night and was discussing his outfit with a mate.
Noddy: "Well, I've got my platform shoes, my flares, my big-collared shirt. What else do in need?"
Mate: "Kipper tie?"
Noddy: "No thanks, mate, but I wouldn't mind a coffee"

My Brummie husband tried (unsuccessfully) to teach me to say "Ten Gold Leaf and a pint of mild" in the accent. Eventually I developed enough of an ear to distinguish between 'lines' and 'lanes' when spoken.
