A Conversation for Items to Take with You when Visiting Friends Abroad
Horror film cheese

My brother, having lived in Thailand for the past four years, told us he missed good old english tea and cheese, dairy products being fairly scarce around there. A piece of advice though; having sent some cheese to him through the post, it then got dumped in a Thai post-office sorting building. Do you know what happens when you send cheese to a hot, humid country with an inefficient postal service? The security guard at my brother's block of flats also delivers post. He refused, when it arrived, to take the supposed "cheese" up to my brother's room due to the nauseating and no doubt toxic smell diffusing from the mass of ex-cheese. My brother is still having psychiatric help due to the trauma suffered from seeing a two month old, humidity and heat-fed piece of blue stilton.
Never ever send to your friends abroad, any kind of cheese, unless they live somewhere very cold and very dry. There's my advice.
