h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The Niwt Family Hotel is finished, as we all had quite a nice time with NO VISITORS. Yay! However Scottish Cousin will be arriving back here in a couple of hours. Scottish Cousin, fortunately isn't as bad as the Principesse, as we called them, Princesses, that were absolutely awful. They're around my age - bit younger - and stayed with us for more than a week. During that time they barely spoke at all, were generally rude, woke up at midday with protests then proceeded to have long showers, spat toothpaste all over the bathroom and left underwear and shampoo on the bathroom floor. When they left we discovered empty coke cans and large chunks of hair under their beds. They were here with their Dad/guardian, who is very pleasant and friendly. Hmmm.

Very very shortly I start at a new school, doing my final two years before uni. Which is a pleasant thought as well as a scary one. Unfortunately everybody in my grade will have been together for several years, and I'm one of only a handful of newbies, which is rather worrying. I do know a lot of the kids at the school though, which I guess will be useful, although I don't like all of them. I have to wear uniform as well - !! I bought it the other day. I'd better not say too much about it, but it's very much like the uniform Marcus wears in "About A Boy". I have to have grey socks! Seems to me they epitomise school. I have avoided them all my life until now! Jihad on grey school socks!

That's about it. If I do work at school, you probably won't hear much from me for a while. If I manage to avoid work as usual - like I've avoided grey socks - then I'll be around a lot. I do feel that grey socks and work probably go together though.
