There's a post in the forum for the entry suggesting you write a section on the proposed Lemony Snicket film. I've posted a message on the Subs' mailing list letting them know about it. If they think it's a good idea, would you like to write a bit more on it? If not, I'm sure we can find someone else to do it.

I'm not too keen on writing about the film, mainly because not much has happened yet, and it will change quickly leaving the entry in need of updates. However, how about I add a paragraph about the film, just for Nightshade, with the header "Film" or something:
"The series has become so popular that a film is currently in production, with the script written by the author. Jim Carrey is starring as Count Olaf. The first film will be based on the first three books."
The only problem with that is that soon the film will be in post-production and then it will be released, etc., so that paragraph will become out-of-date-soon. 
Not sure what to do. What do you think?
On a different note, a new book has been released since I wrote this entry. It is called "The Slippery Slope" and should come last on the list of books, after "The Carnivorous Carnival".

There's no word from the editors yet (being the weekend). I'll wait to see what they say then I'll let you know.
If you post a note in Editorial Feedback, they'll update the list with the new book
