There's a public and a private...which means the opposite to where you are methinks...basically there's a government and non-government.
The non-government has a pretty ghastly uniform, less choice but is better on co-corricular and nearer.
The government gets extremely high average marks, has a wide range of subjects but is very far away and going down.

Clelba Posted Jun 8, 2003
well they bot hmean the same thing here really...
how long will you be there for?
i'd probly go with the private one...since the other is "going down"
depends if you know what you wanna do or not, and if the private school does that...
or something...
when did you say you had to make the decision by?

The public one does more of the subjects I want to do, but of course it might not do them well. We had to fill in a form for the private one and we hear from them soon about whether I have a place or not. There aren't many places. The other one we don't have to fill in forms until long after we've accepted a place at the private school, which makes things rather complicated. So it looks like it will be the private one. I don't mind but I'm complaining a little just to keep my parents on their toes.

So what sort of school are you at then? Is it a boarding school like I think it said on your space last time I went there?

Cool, cool. So how long have you been at that school?
Will you be at uni next year? And why do you want to go to Canada? (I do too actually, I was just wondering if there was any specific reason.)
I still haven't heard back from the private school, although I did go to the other one yesterday to find out about the IB.
