i belive god is a comedian , he obviously gets a kick out of watching peoples lives fall down the tubes. either A. he dosent care, or B. He was drunk when he made the universe. Plauges, war, Famine, ect.. are all part of one big pratical joke. and frankly i dont think tis very funny

Ek* this space intentionally left blank *ki

The reason Gods make our lives so difficult is because they recognise in us too much of themselves.

Slight bastardisation of a line I read somewhere.

Hmmmm...

Let us say that God did set things in motion. If he set the world in motion as he said he did, then the
world was once upon a time a perfect place. What made it bad? According to the biblical account
it was man's fault that things got screwed up.

God, according to all biblical recordings is a pure being incapable of wrong doing. Man, given to
freedom to choose between 'good' and 'evil', chose evil. That was man's choice. Now, under the
ideology of the bible, man suffers the consequences of his/her actions and intentions not under the
judgement of men but by the judgement of God. That, under the premise of the bible, explains
famine, plague and war. Which I agree, is not funny. But is it his fault? Not according to what the
bible is saying. It is man's own fault we have these bad things happen upon the earth. Even without
the idea of a deity, makes a lot of sense.
