when i clicked on a field in the database programme it deleted the record
i got really upset and started crieng i was not working on my own i was working with my friend i was like

don't worry about the database, I know it's anoying when you loose stuff, but it happens to everyone at some time.

is easier to see for people using goo, which is one of the 'skins' for h2g2 if you don't know.

i know what goo is i have used it before and thanks
but the work does mean a lot to me cause i spent so much time on it

I know how you feel. But computers are the most temperamental things I know, and most have it in for me. It feels like it takes ages, but save before you do anything, then you can just shut the work down and open up again if something goes wrong, or you have a powercut.
